Lisa is a sensitive, loving, intuitive being, ever evolving:
She was born in Dodge City Kansas, going on to play childhood games with
kids in Loveland, Denver, Montrose Colorado, and a brief stop in Mesa
Arizona before settling with her family in Douglas Wyoming.
As teenage years came on, she realized her love of the
mountains and spent as much of her time as she could on Casper
Mountain. Here she learned to find peace whispering thru the trees
rustling in the wind. Life force found her as she communed with the
things around her, living and non-living alike. Here she found the
beginning of her Maopopo (understanding), the Mana of everything, the
ever changing, ever the same energy that all things are made of, the
connection.
The love of dance started early. She began dancing in
4th grade, ballet, tap and jazz at Shatto’s School of Dance. By the time
she was in 8th grade, she was a student teacher with 2 other
classmates. An accident in gymnastics put a halt to the career of dance
(and started the awareness of chronic pain), but her love has never
wavered. Finding Hula and the love of Hawaii as an adult filled the
empty space and has led her through another eye opening spiritual
evolution.
Adulthood
brought her to Northwest Montana at the edge of Glacier Park. Here her
love of ‘Aina (land/earth) and nature was settled, firm, and here she
raised her 3 sons. Here she stayed, life filled with ups, downs, loves
and losses. Here she was wife and mother. Here she evolved from
childhood knowledge into adulthood -“now I know I don’t know anything!”
Once the loves of her life flew the nest she went on a
personal/spiritual walkabout. Travelling and living in Las Vegas, Castle
Rock CO, and a boomeranging back and forth from Montana where she could
feed her love of hula, cuddle her grand ones, and donate time to the
Garden of One Thousand Buddhas (Arlee MT) and Cheyenne WY where she was
finding a new spiritual Tribe and has now decided to plant and grow
roots.
Learning massage therapy and Reiki was key to her
latest awakening (yes, THE SLEEPER HAS AWAKENED) and her healer self is
in love with the community she has become a part of. Relaxation and
healing through Swedish, Hot Stone and Deep Tissue massage is her
specialty, while continuing education areas include further
certifications in Reiki, Huna and Ho’oponopono (healing through
self-realization and forgiveness), and Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian spiritual
energy work and massage). Crystals, Reiki, sound healing,
meditation/deep breathing and loving touch may also be incorporated into
her sessions.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
